yellow-brain

Is a neuron-like network created by linking interdisciplinary contributions. This system acts as a complex open forum in the Internet and will end up in a brain-like construction helping us in detecting our own brain activity during creative processes.

'The head is round so that thinking may change its direction.'
(Francis Picabia)

"This statement by Francis Picabia, on a poster, has been accompanying me for fifteen years now, and it is this sentence that has helped me to think up new ideas and understandings. It is for this reason that I'm using this citation as a starting point for my project, in which I plan to create a virtual brain-like system called the 'Yellow Brain' on the Internet.

The Internet is a kind of a universal brain, however, limited to the memory part of a brain activity. Therefore I suggest creating a brain-like structure, which is associative, and has in a limited form an interactive part.
At first I wish to support the dialogue between artists and scientists, however, later it should spread over all cultural activities as well as technologies.
This interactive project needs human input and I would like to invite you to read the following and become a participant to the 'Yellow Brain'."
I am triggered in the creativity of combining interdisciplinary knowledge to dig into the world of the creative mind.

The 'Yellow Brain' is a neuron-like network, which I will create by linking your contributions, which will all have their own web pages interacting via link-knots. This system acts as a complex open structure in the Internet and hopefully will end up in a brain-like construction helping us in detecting our own brain activity during creative processes.

How the "yellow-brain" works: Everybody can enter the system and use the information, can follow an associative path or investigate around an idea. The information is not a compilation of facts but more a collection of ideas, thoughts and apercus.
